Common questions

Volunteer FAQ

Not necessarily. While many roles are on-site in Accra and Northern Ghana, we also have remote opportunities for online tutoring, content creation, mentorship via video call, and administrative support.
We appreciate any time you can give. Most on-site roles require a commitment of at least 4–8 hours per week for one month to ensure consistency for our girls.
Volunteering with Achievers Ghana is free. However, international volunteers are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and insurance. We can help suggest affordable local options.
Enthusiasm and reliability are our most important requirements. While STEM or teaching roles benefit from specific expertise, we welcome anyone with a genuine desire to support girls' empowerment.
