Who we are
Achievers Ghana is a grassroots NGO, revolutionizing how girls’ education is delivered in Ghana. Through a gold-standard system of accountability to the young people and communities we serve, we have created a model that radically improves girls’ prospects of becoming independent, influential women.
The processing of your personal data is carried out by or on behalf of Achievers Ghana, a registered NGO in Ghana (DSW No. DSW/ER/G.322).

How we collect and process personal data
We collect personal information to allow us to provide you with information on our activities and services that we believe will be of benefit. Under data protection law this is referred to as ‘Legitimate Interests’.

Achievers Ghana also collects and processes personal data of beneficiaries (the girls in our programs) to track organizational objectives and ensure they receive everything they are entitled to.
Job Applicants
If you apply to work at Achievers Ghana, we will only use the information you give us to process your application and to monitor recruitment statistics. If you are unsuccessful, we will hold your personal information for 12 months before deletion.
Subject Access Requests
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to have any inaccuracies corrected. Please address requests to mail@achieversghana.org. We respond within one month.
Changing your preferences
You can opt out of marketing at any time by clicking 'Unsubscribe' in our emails, or by contacting us directly. We will maintain a suppression list to ensure you are not contacted again for marketing purposes.
Security & Retention
We take appropriate physical, electronic and managerial measures (including SSL encryption) to ensure your information is secure and accurate.
We hold your personal information only as long as necessary for the relevant activity, following statutory retention periods for financial records.
