Today, Achievers Ghana had the honour of hosting Lieke Van Dijk, our new volunteer from the Netherlands, who joined us through the support of Projects Abroad. As part of her introduction, Lieke announced her mission as a dedicated human rights activist, aiming to bring awareness and education to our community.

During her session, Lieke focused on several key areas of human rights, including educational rights and health rights, emphasizing their critical importance in the development of individuals and communities. She engaged the attendees in a dynamic and interactive discussion, highlighting the universal principles of human rights and how they can be upheld in everyday life.

Lieke’s passion for human rights was evident as she shared her experiences and insights, encouraging our participants to recognize and advocate for their rights and the rights of others. Her emphasis on educational rights resonated strongly with our mission at Achievers Ghana, as we strive to provide quality education and empowerment opportunities for young girls.

Lieke will be with us for six weeks, during which she will continue to contribute her knowledge and skills to our programs. Her presence is a valuable addition to our team, and we are excited about the positive impact she will make during her stay.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Projects Abroad for facilitating Lieke’s involvement with Achievers Ghana. We look forward to a fruitful and inspiring collaboration that will further our efforts in promoting human rights and empowering our community.
