Africa Youth Award has announced its shortlisted nominees for the 2020 edition of the Pan African awards scheme that honours inspirational young Africans who are championing the development of the continent in diverse fields.

Mr Amadu MOhammed, co-founder and director of Achievers Ghana was successfully nominated in the category of Award for Education for the Africa Youth Awards 2020. Mr Amadu is contesting with other six inspiring young leaders. Vote here for Amadu Mohammed to give him the opportunity to win the education category. Every vote counts.

out of over 1000 nominations received from close to 30 countries across across the continent, the work of Mr Amadu and his achievement were deemed fit to deserve an honour and a shortlist for this year’s awards.

Being the 6th edition, the organisers have always believed in creating a platform that would showcase the works of young Africans to the world and use their stories to motivate the youth population on the continent, and to inspire them to look beyond their perceived potential and believe that they can reach stars and achieve their dreams.

The 2020 Awards which is being held in partnership with Kenley College and Avance Media opened public voting on Monday 14th December, 2020 on http://www.africayouthawards.org/vote/#. The voting process presents the opportunity for Africans to select their most outstanding young African nominees from each category up to the 28th December, 2020 when voting portal will be closed, which will enable winners to be selected and announced on Friday, 1st January, 2021.
