In the communities they come from, men have made the rules. Women and girls are often faced with violence, marginalisation and discrimination. In the worst cases, the birth of a bay girl has been a major disappointment – a boy is preferred.
But these girls have had enough. They are demanding change. These girls we are working with are proving that girls are capable of everything. They are continually inspiring us, not just on special days, but all year round. Let give girls the chance to lead.
