Life Skills Training Program for 32 Girls in Accra.

32 girls from Al-Waleed Comprehensive Basic School at Kanda Ruga in the East Ayawaso Constituency Ghana benefited from One Day Workshop on Life Skills organized by Achievers Ghana with the support from Global Fund for Children.

The 4 hour one day training workshop for girls aged 10-16 involved activities such as awareness of rights and responsibilities, informed about social and political issues, concerned about the welfare of others and able to clearly articulate their opinions and arguments.

During the training, the girls were able to identify differing and opposing views and express their own opinion on what is fair and unfair in different situation. The aim of the workshop is to teach girls how to participate actively in various decision making processes.
